The Georgian Bay Chapter covers a large geographical territory in Ontario. We span central Ontario from the shores of Lake Simcoe and Georgian Bay to the beauty of cottage country in the Muskoka’s and south to Dufferin and York Counties. We have a diverse geography that is surpassed only by the diversity of the members of our chapter!
Our chapter is comprised of both company and independent insurance adjusters as well as a strong group of social members made up of the numerous vendors and service provides that together work to provide the consumer the high standard of service expected of the insurance industry.
Our social members include: restoration contractors, engineering firms, lawyers, investigators, appraisers and auto body shops, medical and rehab associates as well as many other service providers and local insurance industry association members.
Our chapter strives to provide you with education on the latest trends, and legislation that impact our industry. We also work hard at providing an atmosphere in which to network, build relationships and learn from one another, as well as sharing good times with industry colleagues.
We have numerous events throughout the year including or chapter meetings which take place on the first Thursday – March, April, October, and November. Each of these meetings provides you an opportunity to mix and mingle, as well as hear a guest speaker on a wide variety of topics. These meetings take place at the beautiful Barrie Golf and Country Club. In addition to these meetings, we have our annual Past Presidents meeting in May. We also plan each year a Curling Bonspiel and Golf Tournament that are well attended, as well as a summer wrap up event, and a Christmas dinner and dance.
