Topic: Virtual Expedition from Argentina to Antarctica
Dinner: 6pm – Dinner Theme: Tapas & Tasting – Argentina (Dietary restrictions (if any) can be accommodated with advance notice )
Cost: $40 per person + $16 per person/ for pairings for the 3 courses ( two 3oz. glasses of wine and a 1oz. brandy )

For those that have not experienced a tapas and tasting event, it is a fantastic way to learn to pair with certain foods – not to mention the food is pretty spectacular.
A little about our host for the evening:
Rob Reader is a veteran adventurer, expedition leader, lecturer and historian
having visited Antarctica more than 60 times, as well as dozens of trips to the
Arctic, the South Pacific, the Amazon, and South America, leading scientists,
travellers and photographers. His intimate knowledge of exploration history and
his incredible story-telling abilities makes him an excellent travelling companion
and guide. In 2006 Rob and his wife Jennifer opened The Explorers Cafe in
Midland Ontario, a restaurant which showcases their passion for international food,
wine, art and music. In 2017, Rob formalized his passion for wine achieving his
WSET 3 advanced award in wines and is now an accredited Sommelier with The
Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers.
